The Library and Good Friends

To continue to recognize what I'm thankful for, today I'm thankful for the library.  As sad as it may sound to some, the library is the saving grace of a stay-at-home mom in the winter.  They have tons of FREE activities all week long.  Today we went to a musical story time with our friends Leyna and Cora.  This is the first time I registered Scott for an event!  Although Conner was a little more into it than he was.

Unfortunately when I turned on the camera as soon as I got there, the flashing red light informed me the battery was about to die.  Boo :(  But, I got as many pictures as I could before it turned off on me.  I apologize because these are really not the greatest pictures, but I was feeling very rushed!

These are supposed to be used as drums, but tell a 1 year old to use a spoon for something other than eating -
doesn't work too well!

Today I'm also thankful for "Aunt Jami."  She fed us lunch, let us hang around all day, then fed us dinner before we went home.  The kids had a blast, Scott made it through his first day without a nap (we'll see how he sleeps tonight!), and the mommies actually enjoyed a pretty relaxing afternoon as well.  It was a really great day!
